I can’t believe it’s the beginning of September— it’s my favorite time of the year!
These are the months that I live for because the weather starts cooling down a bit, college football is back (Go Knights! – UCF) and there is so much to look forward to.

TRENCH COAT
I’m not usually a trench coat type of person because they always end up looking very awkward on me and feel really bulky. However, this trench coat fits really well and I love the shorter length. The chest is lightly lined with a soft fleece, plus it’s windproof and water resistant. It has functional buttons, zipper pockets and ties in the front.
**** If your size is sold out in the exact jacket I’m wearing, I found an almost identical version on Amazon from the same brand. The only difference is the detail on the sash in the back and this one might be slightly longer. Aside from the back, I can’t tell a difference.
SIZING DETAILS:
I’m wearing a small and the fit is great. For bulkier sweaters I would probably need a medium. I would recommend getting the size depending on how you prefer your coats to fit. If you prefer a relaxed fit, go up one size.

COZY SHACKET
This shacket is lightly lined with a soft silk fabric, but it’s very heavy so it’s still going to keep you warm. It’s the perfect oversized fit and the neutral colors allow you to style it several ways.
SIZING DETAILS:
It comes in sizes XS-XL and I would recommend getting your normal size. I am wearing a small.

GREEN DENIM JACKET
The quality of this green denim jacket took me by surprise. It’s not stiff, bulky or heavy which is usually how I find most denim jackets to be. It’s also available in a standard blue as well as a few other color options.
SIZING DETAILS:
It’s naturally oversized so I went with a small, however I wouldn’t mind a medium for a little extra room when wearing bulkier sweaters or tops.

PLAID SHIRT
This olive plaid shirt is really pretty and it comes in five other colors. It’s only $25 so I love that it’s affordable in case we need another color.
SIZING DETAILS:
I sized up to a medium because I prefer an oversized fit in my flannel shirts. Go up one size for a fit like mine or if you like a relaxed fit.

CHAMBRAY SHIRT
I am a huge fan of this chambray shirt because it’s lightweight and easy to layer. This brand always has a sale going on so it’s definitely going to be affordable. If your size is sold out I have linked a few more similar options below.
SIZING DETAILS:
I sized up to a large to get a very oversized look. I’m 5’6″ with a long torso so I needed to go way up to cover both the front and back. Otherwise, get your normal size or how you prefer it to fit.
NEUTRAL CARDIGAN
You won’t believe how soft this neutral cardigan is! It’s from Amazon and the quality is fantastic. In fact, I love it so much I have it in four colors.
SIZING DETAILS:
This cardigan is naturally oversized so I would recommend getting your normal size. If you are petite you could probably size down if you wanted to. I have a size small in the APRICOT color.

GREY JEANS
This is one of my favorite denim brands! These grey jeans were a little long on me so I cut around 3-5 inches off the bottom with fabric scissors. They have a high rise and a little more give than their traditional rigid denim.
SIZING DETAILS:
I’m wearing my normal size 0/25. I recommend getting your normal size or if you are in between sizes go up one. These were super long so I cut them with fabric scissors.
BLUE JEANS
This is my first pair of jeans from this brand! MOTHER denim is very new to me and they are much more of an investment piece for your closet. I’ve owned a lot of jeans in almost 36 years and this pair is hands down the best I’ve ever worn or purchased. They have a high rise and the silhouette just looks and feels great. Plus, they have the perfect amount of stretch.
SIZING DETAILS:
I’m wearing my normal size 0/25. I recommend getting your normal size or going up one size if you are in between sizes right now.

*** Because these are a higher priced item I wanted to link similar options that I have actually worn and own. If these are not in your budget, I recommend trying the MID RISE VINTAGE SLIM JEAN from last year’s Fall capsule, or the HIGH RISE CHEEKY STRAIGHT JEAN that I found this year. BLACK LEGGINGS

I’m wearing a small and would say it’s true to size. The fabric is nice and chunky but it’s not itchy at all. You could wear it unbuttoned or buttoned up like I have. It’s available in a few other colors but I just loved this green.

ACCESSORIES
Reversible Horsebit Belt: This belt is 30mm and comes in sizes XXS-XXL. BOTH COLORS SHOULD BE IN STOCK AND AVAILABLE BY SEPTEMBER 2.
I wear a small for regular bottoms. If I were wearing it around my natural waist I would wear an XS.
Mini Reversible Belt: This belt comes in sizes XXS-XL. IF YOUR SIZE IS NOT IN STOCK, THIS BELT SHOULD BE FULLY RESTOCKED BY THE END OF SEPTEMBER. I will keep my eye on the restock and leet you know the moment it’s available.
Large Black Tote: I really wanted the look of the designer bag from Longchamp, but without the designer price tag.
