January’s Small Business Spotlight

I don’t know about you but I have never, ever been able to keep new year’s goals. One month in and poof, they were forgotten as if I had never made them. No matter, this year is different and I’m going to stick with it and having you here will keep me accountable.

Every month in 2021 I promise to…

share three to five small businesses with you in a blog post just like this one.
Unfortunately I often forget about small shops because most of the time major retailers can give me what I want, and fast.

This year I’m planning to remember small businesses that are owned by hard working individuals. There are shops out there who may be following their dreams or working hard to simply put food on the table. No matter what, they deserve support.
Instead of making a mad dash to a big name retailer on my phone, I’ll look on Etsy or somewhere alike. Quick and easy is necessary sometimes, however making a purchase that will personally effect someone or make a difference in their life is so much more rewarding.

Below are five small businesses I shopped at in the month of January.
Check them out!!!

Frame Details

The bro. print was framed by Custom Picture Frames in the Noir Classique black frame. The size is a 16×20 with no mat and non glare glass.

Bryant custom made the prints with the boys’ names on them. I sent him a picture of an idea I had and he created exactly what I imagined. I love the simplicity of the font he uses and I’m so happy with how they turned out.
Thanks Bryant!!!

Lucky Digital Art

When I created this gallery wall in our dining room I didn’t have a plan of what I wanted to put in the frames, just that I knew I wanted one.
I once heard someone say to make the art you put in your home, personal or to have special meaning.
So I recently stumbled across these map prints on Pinterest and knew they would be perfect in to fill these frames in our dining room. I found Lucky Digital Art on Etsy, sent them the locations I chose and they turned out beautifully.
