I recently had several of you reach out to me for a post on how to style nude mules for Fall so I immediately started putting a few outfits together. I originally planned to share just five, then five turned into seven and here we are. I have a ‘ 10 ways to style nude mules’ for Fall. 🙂
It can be frustrating when you love an item you see on someone else but have no idea what to wear it with, past copying their outfit. I threw together ten outfits for Fall and a few that will help transition into Fall as well since some of us are still wondering if we are going to forever be stuck in Summer?!?!
I’ve included sizing details for each look so make sure you read that before ordering any clothing items below. I hope you enjoy this post and if you have any ideas of items you would like for me to style, leave me a comment in the section below.
One

My denim shorts are from Summer so unfortunately they are out of stock, however my white popover top is available and it runs true to size. I’m wearing my normal size extra small.

SWEATER : My camel sweater is not itchy, true to size ( I have an extra small ), has great length and would be long enough to wear with leggings. It’s available in several other colors and ships with Amazon PRIME.
JEAN LEGGINGS : These have an ultra high rise and are very stretchy but not too much to where they will bag out. Also, they are true to size, I ordered my normal size 25/0.

UTILITY JACKET : This jacket is an Amazon PRIME find, comes in several colors and is great quality. It’s the best I have found this season and I’m really happy with this light olive color. It has drawstrings in the inside to help cinch in and tighten around your waist and I would say it’s true to size or slightly over sized. I prefer my jackets tailored so if you wear yours that way too, I would size down. If you plan on wearing heavy sweaters underneath, grab your normal size.
STRIPED COZY TOP : True to size, so comfy and comes in several colors. I went with a medium for an over sized feel so I could do a front tuck in my jeans or shorts.

GREY TUNIC TOP // WHITE SHORTS // MULES // KEY RING + WALLET // NECKLACE // SUNGLASSES // WATCH

GREY TUNIC TOP : Slightly over sized and perfect to pair with leggings. I’m wearing an extra small and did a little front tuck in white denim shorts. It’s an Amazon PRIME find and a very soft, almost sweater like material.
WHITE SHORTS : Slightly distressed, true to size (I’m wearing my normal 0 from Old Navy) and they have a 3 inch inseam.

CARDIGAN // PINK SLEEVELESS TOP // APPLE WATCH WHITE BAND // WRAP BRACELET // MULES // TAUPE HANDBAG

Shorts are from Abercrombie and out of stock from Summer.
CARDIGAN : It comes in a burgundy color as well and I sized up to a medium for a looser, over sized fit. Not itchy and under $25.
PINK SLEEVELESS TOP : Buttons are functional, true to size (I have an extra small) and it comes in several other colors.

HANDBAG // SUNGLASSES // JEANS // VEST // WHITE LONG SLEEVE TEE // MULES // APPLE WATCH WHITE BAND

VEST : True to size (I have an extra small) and the material is a sweater like fabric. I’ve had mine for three years and the quality is amazing. I wear it all Fall long with flannel shirts, sweaters and tees.
WHITE LONG SLEEVE TEE : This is the best white tee I’ve found so far this season and it’s an Amazon PRIME find. The material reminds me of the luxe style tees from Old Navy, which always feels slightly clingy to me, so I sized up to a small. Available in other colors as well.
JEANS : Very distressed, jegging like material, comfy, true to size but if in between I would go up one.

Seven
JEANS // MULES // WATER BOTTLE // CROSSBODY BAG // STRIPED BUTTON UP SHIRT // SUNGLASSES // BRACELETS

JEANS : same pair as in the previous picture.
STRIPED BUTTON UP SHIRT : This blouse is the perfect basic button up that instantly makes your outfit look put together. I have a small and would say it runs slightly over sized, so size down one or grab your normal size. It’s lightweight, not heavy and very soft.
Eight
BLACK SWEATER // JEANS // MULES // CROSSBODY BAG // BRACELET // DUPE BELT // WATCH // EARRINGS

BLACK SWEATER : Very basic, black v neck sweater. It has a slight hi lo front and back so size up for length. I have a small and it’s perfect to tuck into skirts or jeans if you are unsure on how to style it.
JEANS : This brand always runs big so I suggest sizing down. They have a great high waist, the perfect amount of stretch and are currently on sale.

JEANS : These distressed jeggings have a high rise and I went with my normal size. Size down if you are unsure, they stretch quite a bit.
SWEATSHIRT : I love this sweatshirt because it’s not your typical lounge top. It has small threaded lines in it which make it a little dressier and put together.

JEANS : Same jeans as shown in picture number six.
SWEATER : Love this sweater but I wish I had sized up one for length. If you have a long torso, definitely go up one. It’s not itchy and does a perfect front tuck.

Are the mules true to size? What color is it?
I always size up half a size in mules so I would recommend doing that because they tend to be a little more narrow. I’ve found that with most all mules for some reason! 🙂
